
Peggy S. Wallace, Chief Executive
Officer
Peggy S. Wallace is founder, C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board
of Affirmative Lifestyles, Inc., a company which she established in 1989 to
engage in the business of transacting life insurance settlements. She is the author of two books and has been
a frequent contributor to professional journals.
Mrs. Wallace is an accomplished speaker on financial topics and the recipient
of numerous professional awards. Mrs.
Wallace founded ALI Funding, Inc. in 1994 to engage in the funding of life insurance
settlements.
Mrs. Wallace's articles have appeared in Texas Lawyer,
The National Underwriter, Best's Review and Life Insurance
Selling. In November, 1997, Mrs.
Wallace received an award for a paper submitted to the national conference on
"Personal Finance Employee Education Best Practices and Collaborations"
sponsored by Virginia Tech University.
Mrs. Wallace began her career in financial services in
1979 and she has acquired extensive experience in the various aspects of financial
planning. She has provided financial
planning services for professionals, corporate executives, and business owners.
Mrs. Wallace is the author of Financial Crossroads, a personal
financial self-help manual.
Mrs. Wallace received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Mathematics from the University of
South Florida. She earned her
designation as a Certified Financial Planner in 1983 and was recognized as one
of the leading financial planners in the United States by Money Magazine.

Thomas W. Wallace, J.D., General
Counsel
Tom Wallace, Secretary and General Counsel for ALI, is
responsible for assisting in the management of the life settlement business,
including establishing and implementing company policies and procedures. In addition Mr. Wallace provides legal, regulatory,
and administrative supervision of the activities of the company.
Mr. Wallace is a licensed attorney and member of the
State Bar of Texas. Mr. Wallace received
his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1973, his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's
University School of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas
in 1981. Mr. Wallace is a member of the
American Bar Association, Financial Planning Association and holds both securities
and insurance licenses.

Thomas R. Frommer, Chief Operating
Officer
Dr. Tom Frommer joined The ALI Group in 1997 after serving
in the ministry since 1966, having served as Executive Pastor of Overland Park
Christian Church in Kansas. Tom has seen
families suffer with severe illnesses of loved ones only to have financial needs
compound their suffering. Tom's large
church experience provided him with extensive administrative, organizational
and leadership skills that have added important dimensions to the ALI management
team.
Tom's leadership abilities are too numerous to list.
However, a sample of several diverse projects that Tom has led include: a major
relief effort in Jamaica following Hurricane Gilbert, revitalization of the
Historic Northeast Area of Kansas City that resulted in Tom being named the
first director of its Chamber of Commerce and leadership of the first Stephens'
Ministry regional training program outside of St. Louis.
Dr. Frommer received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Lexington
Theological Seminary and his Masters Degree from Central Baptist Theological
Seminary.

Katherine E. Guttman, Vice President/Executive
Services
Kathy
Guttman, Director of Customer Relations for Affirmative Lifestyles, joined the
company in 1998. Mrs. Guttman came to ALI with extensive marketing expertise gained
from more than twenty years’ experience in management and sales. From 1991 to 1998, Mrs. Guttman
was affiliated with a
national real estate franchise organization as a business consultant to franchisees
and later in franchise sales where she achieved national recognition for sales achievement.
From
1987 through 1991, Mrs. Guttman owned and operated
Repco Management Company, a real estate management company. During this period, Mrs. Guttman
managed, renovated and marketed for resale over one thousand properties, both
commercial and single-family residential units, held in the foreclosure inventories
of various banks and mortgage companies in San Antonio, Texas and the surrounding areas.
Prior
to 1987, Mrs. Guttman gained valuable experience in
management, public relations and sales through affiliations with companies in
Chicago and Cleveland. Mrs. Guttman has completed business, public relations and management
courses at Winnetka Community
College, Winnetka, Illinois and at San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas.

Ann Stevens, Vice President/Information Systems
Ann Stevens manages the Information Systems Department
for ALI. Mrs. Stevens possesses extensive, diverse, long term experience and
expertise in database analysis, design, and programming. She has completed customized
design projects in a wide range of industries. Ann's professional employment
experience includes: over ten years as System Engineer for IBM in New York City
and Detroit, Michigan, with major awards and commendations for outstanding service;
Systems Analyst for the FDIC in San Antonio, Texas where she also received a
superior performance award.
Mrs. Stevens is the owner of Creative Databases,
a business she established in 1985. Creative Databases has provided computer
consulting, programming, and training services to The ALI Group since 1993.
Since 2001, Ann has been engaged full time by The ALI Group. Ann earned an MBA,
with honors, from Columbia University, New York and a Bachelor of Science degree,
with honors, from Pennsylvania State University.

Carol J.
Hansen, Vice President/Negotiations (Finance)
Carol Hansen directs ALI's Policy Negotiation Department
and joined The ALI Group in 1991. Carol has been responsible for policy administration
and underwriting for ALI, as well as numerous other aspects of the life settlements
business. Currently, Carol is responsible for policy reviews, procuring medical
records, applicant and funding client communication, tracking of all settlors
whose policies have been purchased by ALI and making sure that policies remain
in force by the timely payment of premiums.
Mrs. Hansen's career over the past thirty years has included
a wide variety of experiences. Her
employment has included working for the State of Utah Apprenticeship Council to establish training programs for various vocations
and working for the United States Air Force in the Inspector General's office. Prior to joining The ALI Group, Mrs. Hansen
worked for the Non-Commissioned Officers Association. Her duties have encompassed
all aspects of administrative services ranging from correspondence, phone
communication, accounting, and supervision.

Richard A. Fleener,
Chairman/Executive Advisory Committee
Dick Fleener, Chairman of the
Executive Advisory Committee for ALI, joined the Company in 1994, after a long
career in the Group Pension Division of a major life insurance company.
Mr. Fleener has responsibility for development
of the underwriting guidelines governing the acquisition of policies by ALI,
as well as long-term strategic planning.
Mr.
Fleener is a 1957 graduate of Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, Iowa, where he received both his B.A. in History and B.S.
in Economics. He has also received management
training through the American Management Association, Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Fleener has served as a speaker and lecturer for the National
Association of Life Underwriters.
